As an ambitious startup with roots in Poland and the UK, we’re seeking a dynamic accountant to propel Sonic globally. This role offers you a spectrum of financial responsibilities, from handling investment projects and shareholder relations to dealing with S(EIS), EMI, and more, encompassing both UK and international compliance. ABOUT THE ROLE

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle all accounting and bookkeeping tasks for our UK entity (bills, invoices, bank reconciliation, expense claims, payroll, VAT and other tax), ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
• Collaborate with an external accounting firm in the UK to assist with annual accounts and ad-hoc audits.
• Oversee the accounting and bookkeeping needs of our Poland entity, including working with a Poland-based bookkeeper/data entry person for day-to-day tasks.
• Coordinate with an external accounting firm to audit entries and assist in submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts and reports for our Poland entity.
• Prepare consolidated group financial statements to provide a comprehensive view of the company’s financial performance.
• Engage with external auditors and tax advisors as and when needed.
• Play a key role in budgeting and forecasting procedures for the UK and Polish entities.
• Drive the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes for the UK and Polish entities.

Salary:  £45,000 – £65,000 pa
