Appello is pleased to announce Hero Labs is the latest partner to join its new innovative insight driven services which deliver proactive wellbeing monitoring to vulnerable citizens and property.
Appello runs the UK’s largest digital telecare monitoring centre and supports more than 300,000 elderly and vulnerable citizens across the UK, providing emergency call and digital safety and wellbeing innovations on behalf of local authority and housing provider customers.
Proactive Wellbeing Monitoring is a move towards utilising data insights from class-leading technologies to enable improvements in the delivery of community care and empower early intervention to avoid both health and property related emergencies.
Appello will integrate with Hero Labs’ class-leading smart water management platform to help provide a comprehensive picture of resident activity, contributing to their wellbeing index. The Sonic smart valve enables non-intrusive monitoring of resident water usage and provides early warning if they do not make a cup of tea or use the facilities as expected during the course of the day. It also provides protection in the case of a leak or elevated risk of Legionnaires disease.
